Service

 

All aspects of education intrigue me, from working with students in and out of the classroom, to facilitating the professional growth of teachers.  I have had the opportunity to be a part of educational advancements, such as vetting Family and Consumer Science (FACS) assessments for a statewide resource bank, developing and refining state standards as part of the CAP4K legislation in Colorado, and creating technology based information systems for FACS teachers.

 

Outside of the classroom I have held multiple leadership positions in the Colorado Association for Career and Technical Education, the Colorado Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences, and I have played an active role in the state association of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
